Since starting lessons with Chris, I have improved in both my music theory and my playing. With his help I have achieved distinctions in all my exams. He is patient, funny and kind; I would definitely recommend him to anyone interested in developing as a musician!

I am an adult piano learner who has been self taught using on line resources since the COVID lockdowns. I decided to start ‘proper’ lessons as I felt my progress had stalled and I was very likely locked into bad habits. Chris has been fantastic - he has (quite rightly) taken me back to basics including forcing me to read music, which has been painful at times but is building strong foundations from where I am certain I will make solid progress. He is a great teacher and an all round interesting, highly knowledgeable and very nice guy. If you are looking for a piano (or other instrument - as far as I can determine, he plays pretty much everything to a very high standard) teacher I would very much recommend Chris to you.

Chris has helped me grow my knowledge on music theory, also he is very helpful and lessons are packed full of entertainment. He has thoroughly taught me new skills and helped me through different topics in the theory book.
