I was an absolute "newbie" to 3D printing when I purchased my first 3D printer from Technology Outlet, and wasn't aware of the pit I'd jumped in. If it wasn't for the after sales support I'm sure the printed would be in the bin. Both James and Myles have supported me through a steep learning curve. They have answered all my questions, mundane or complex. Providing no end of information to help me get the best out of the printers.

If that's not enough, their pricing is always competitive.

How a company deals with an issue says far more than anything else and on this point they have been excellent. I bought my son a 3D printer for Christmas which unfortunately was faulty. I sent a message to the company and did not expect much to happen until the new year. Had a message saying they had limited support until 3rd Jan. To my surprise I had tech support on the Wednesday that fixed some of the issues. When a new motherboard was needed this was sent and received the next day. Truly excellent customer service. The person who I was dealing with, Myles, was brilliant and a great ambassador for the company. I would not hesitate to recommend this company due to this superb customer support.

Brought my first 3d printer from the Technology Outlet, they have great prices and fantastic quick delivery. I had a few problems, but Myles and the other guys sorted my issues, they are very helpful and always reply quick to any questions you have. I'm really glad I purchased from them and would definitely recommend them. 10 out of 10!

Technology Outlet has competitively priced 3D printing consumables, but the customer service sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. I had to argue about the quality of what I received a couple of times. They have made it right for me, hence 2 stars.

But that was after a LOT of back-and-forth, and I feel it shouldn't have to be that way. I run an online business too on the side, it's small, and I do it all myself from home, which means I provide the customer service, and hands on heart I can say I provide the best customer service in the world. I do it as if the other person is myself, and so I give them the same quality I want to receive from someone serving me. That is to say, I treat that person with the respect, humility and attention they deserve for choosing to spend their hard-earned money on my business and not another. So far, I haven't had any issues because I control every step of the process and operations. But I am proactive in communicating and thanking each. I do not treat them like an inconvenience, and I definitely put customer satisfaction above profit motivations as I know that happy customers return, and are less likely to complain, in addition they will spread the word. I give each one of my customers the highest standard of service you could expect from a small business, period. I expect a big business to up the ante, but this is seldom the case, and definitely not the case with Technology Outlet.

Maybe the fact that I run my own show means I can control the quality better, but this doesn't mean Technology Outlet gets a pass on sometimes offering poor resolutions.

Last thing was their website showing plastic spools and only having the fact that the spools are cardboard written in the description. As a repeat client, I don't check the description if the product is the same. I trust that the photos are correct, and per the law they have to be, as they form part of the description. When I raised this, they had nothing to say. They told me to print some adaptors to use with my automated material system using my own filament. When I finally did, their junk adaptors wouldn't even work, so not only did I waste money, I wasted time and material too. I designed adaptors that do work - using my own time and therefore money. I emailed them asking if they'd send me a couple of filament spools for doing their job. No response.

Real nice! If you're going to buy, let it be for the price. Because the service is NOT anywhere where it should be in terms of quality.

I bought my 17 year old son the Anet ET5 from these guys. While I am absolutely clueless, we had a few issues setting it up with it needing a new part and then the print head kept hitting the print bed. Myles and James were fantastic. Lots of emails back and forth, very quick replies. The part we needed was sent next day delivery and my son is happily printing. Amazing service from this company!

Great Customer Service!

Had a problem with a printer I ordered (it happens!) and the level of customer service I received in getting the issue resolved was fantastic.

A great team of friendly people and a big thanks to Sam in particular for helping me out and being patient as we worked to a solution.

I'll definitely order from them again.
